Plasma TV or LCD TV?
First of all, you’ll have to decide between plasma and LCD. There are benefits of both kinds of new flat-screens, but if you’re after absolute clear definition for your favourite movies, LCD may be the better option for you. Plasma TVs are arguably better all-round TVs, but LCDs are certainly better with film clarity.
The Price
Make sure you settle on a figure you’re comfortable with paying, and one that you know you will be able to stick to. Check out what’s on offer around the net and in other stockists and get to know the rough amount that you’ll be looking at to pay for your new Sony HD Plasma TV.
The Size
What sort of size are you looking for? Check a few different sizes out, so that you can plan for where it will go, how it will be viewed and so on. It is important that you do this at this early stage to avoid annoyance later on.
Connectivity
Make sure you are aware of what connectors are needed to use your Sony HD Plasma TV. You may have some already, but be sure you have the right HDMI cables and so on at your disposal. Also make sure your DVD/Blu Ray players and TV boxes are compatible. They should all be anyway, but it is always best to make sure.
Keep these things in mind when looking to buy your new digital HD TV, and you can be sure to be satisfied with the model you choose.
