I started the LH90 series with the LG 55LH90 LED TV (the 55 inch version), and today we pick up with the 42 inch version, the 27LH90. Aside from screen size, the 42 inch has exactly the same stats as the 55 inch version.
Vital Stats
- Screen size – 42 in
- Depth – 4.2 in
- Contrast ratio – 2,000,000:1
- 240 hz
- Price range: $2,527.00 – $3,899.95
- Response time – 2.4ms
- Local Dimming – Yes

What do these Stats Mean?
The 47LH90 features “TruMotion”, which refreshes the image at 240 frames per second (240 hz), which eliminates motion blur and image judder; two major problems previously associated with LED TVs.
The local dimming feature ensures that the dark parts of the picture are dark, while light parts of the picture stay light.
I don’t have any clever way of closing this article today, so just go buy one for yourself … and buy me one too while you’re at it.
Cheers,
